My name is Dr. Allan Mxxxxx and I have Peyronie’s disease. I have talked to Dr. Herazy two times and as recent as Friday 1/20/17. One last question for you Dr. Herazy, I am very compliant and have been for the last two years. As I explained in our previous conversation, I used the VED everyday along with topical Lugols with emusion d and DMSO along with many other things like nattokinase, serrapeptase, acetyl-L-carnitine. Also, super phosphozyme liquid and many other things. So, that being said, being so compliant, what are my chances of completely getting rid of Peyronie’s disease? One other thing that I didnt get a chance to ask you about was the 3Mhz ultrasound. Is that a good compliment to getting rid of the scarring and why. I dont think of ultrasound for scar tissue. Thank You and looking forward to getting started and talking to you again.
Greetings Dr. Mxxxx,
Being faithful and compliant to your Alt Med Peyronie’s disease treatment protocol is always essential, yet this does not help me predict outcome of treatment. I can tell you that for every 8-10 reports of success (from mild to great and even total) I receive one report of failure; this protocol helps 8-10 men for every person it does not help. Good compliance and aggressive application of treatment methodology will increase your possibility of success. Keep in mind as you begin care that it is critical that you asses the morphology of the fibrous mass (size, shape, density, surface features and any other unique physical aspects you note), as opposed to the outward appearance of your penile distortion, to monitor efficacy of Peyronie’s disease treatment.
A research project PDI conducted several years ago indicated that Alt Med Peyronie’s disease treatment results were enhanced in previously stalled treatment programs when 3Mhz ultrasound therapy was added and all other treatment remained the same. I speculate that the improvements attributed to the inclusion of the 3Mhz US were due the cavitation effect on the fibrin spicules and collagen matrix as well as increased vascularity produced by the secondary thermal effect.
Further, in regard to your deliberation regarding the appropriateness and efficacy of ultrasound treatment for Peyronie’s disease: Do not place yourself at the disadvantage of fathoming if ultrasound has a salutary effect on PD from the perspective of solo treatment, but attempt to consider it as part of a multiple concurrent treatment protocol. Solo treatment of Peyronie’s disease with any one therapy item tends to be rather consistently feckless. From my personal PD experience and the experience of doing this work with men from around the world since 2002, my observation is that good natural treatment for this terrible malady tends to be complex; when working best it is not possible to parse individual contributions for each therapy element used. It is a messy way to approach this subject, and not at all consistent with the scientific method, but that is the best I know in this current state of affairs with Alt Med treatment of Peyronie’s disease.
The suggested Peyronie’s disease treatment protocol is likely different than what you have previously conducted. Please do not try to retrofit it into what you have done previously. Please let me know if I can help you along the way. TRH
Hello, I am 21 years old and from Germany and sure I have Peyronie’s disease. I had venous leakage and Viagra, Cialis and Levitra fails. From Skat Injection I became a plaque on my penis shaft. Before I get my penile implant i try to reduce the plaque or to make it softer because the plaque can reduce the size of the implant. What can I do? I take potaba, L- Arginine, citrullin, carnitine, Vitamin e and testosterone gel because I have low testosterone for years. What can I do? What can I add to make the plaque smaller or go away..? I try everything but I dont know what can I do. Sorry for my bad English. I hope you can help me rid this Peyronie’s disease and tell my which tablets can help me. Thank you very much.
Greetings Dome,
Your English is fantastic; you should be proud of your ability. You ask logical questions about Peyronie’s disease treatment.
So, you are a young man who was diagnosed with venous leakage, resulting in poor or no erections, and for that you were treated with Viagra, Cialis, and Levitra that did not work. Then you tried a series of Skat injections into the shaft and this also did not help your ED. Over time these drugs and injections injured your shaft resulting in Peyronie’s disease. Now they want to do a penile implant for you at the age of 21. To make room for the implant you wish to eliminate as much plaque as possible. You have read somewhere that taking vitamins helps Peyronie’s disease and you tried that on your own, but it also did not help.
You are on the right track to help your Peyronie’s disease, but you are trying to figure this out by yourself. The most important thing about natural Peyronie’s disease treatment is correct dosage and saturating your tissue with enough of the correct mix or blend of nutrients to get your body to work at it highest ability to remove the foreign tissue. You are not using some important supplements and you are using some that I do not know will help you. Please read the Peyronie’s Disease Institute website to learn more about this kind of treatment. When you are ready, order the largest plan you can afford to use aggressively and faithfully 3-4 months to see if your body is capable of removing the Peyronie’s disease plaque and scar tissue. You will receive complete instructions how to use whatever products you order.
Good luck to you, you man, and your Peyronie’s disease. TRH
Thank you very much. Is it possible to regain lost penis size caused by my Peyronie’s disease before the penile implant?
When I take all Supplements and do streching excercises?
Greetings again Dome,
Men who successfully treat their Peyronie’s disease often have return of all or some of their lost size; the amount regained is variable depending on how much reduction of Peyronie’s disease scar tissue occurs. There is no way I can predict how successful you at going to be with your treatment because I have no way to know how accurately or faithfully you will conduct your plan. There are men who say they want to be better, yet fail to follow the simple suggestions and ideas we provide. Peyronie’s disease is a difficult problem to treat, requiring your best effort if you hope to help your body remove the scar tissue. TRH
Dr. Herazy,
Do you do phone consultations to help someone establish the proper Peyronie’s disease treatment plan for them after learning their history of the disease and other treatments like Xiaflex, etc. I need help getting a treatment plan started but there are so many parts to your plans – I could use some guidance. Thanks.
Greetings Scott,
Yes, I do several phone consultations about Peyronie’s disease every day with people from around the world, men and women, offering information and ideas how to treat and cope with this terrible problem. Go to the PDI store at http://peyronies-disease-help.com/pdi-store-existing-customer/ Scroll down toward the bottom of the page to the tan colored box. The first section in the tan box is for “Phone consult with Dr. Herazy.”
After you indicate how much time you want for the consultation I will contact you via email to set up a convenient time. You will be able to describe your situation, ask questions about Peyronie’s disease treatment, sex problems or whatever else is on your mind. You will receive helpful suggestions and ideas about your Peyronie’s disease based on my personal experience of living with and treating my own Peyronie’s disease, as well as communicating with thousands of people since 2002 about their PD.
Many people find this service so helpful that they call monthly to help guide their Peyronie’s disease treatment plans through the various stages of recovery. They find that our talks help avoid a lot of problems for them and make treatment more efficient.
I look forward to discussing your Peyronie’s disease questions with you, Scott. TRH
I have chronic lymphocytic leukemia first diagnosed in 2010 when I was 64 years old. I am in remission after chemotherapy and otherwise in good health. I am now 71. About 3 months ago I discovered the Peyronie’s curvature and difficulties in sexual performance. My wife believes my sexual difficulties actually started about 6 months ago. Any thoughts? Is this a scenario that you have heard in the past? Thank you in advance.
Greetings Dr. Paul,
Your commentary is not unusual; onset of Peyronie’s disease without a specific etiologic factor is common.
You ask for my thoughts: Most obvious is that your last name suggests at least the possibility of genetic predisposition to PD. Less obvious and more speculative is that a history of chronic illness further suggests several common scenarios that ultimately could cause Peyronie’s disease: 1. Use of prescription drugs with PD as a side effect, 2. Urinary catheterization done roughly or hastily causing injury to the tunica albuginea, 3. Human drama of chronic illness and multiple drug use in which sex is attempted with a partial erection that ultimately leads to penile injury and Peyronie’s disease. Any of these could apply to your situation because during a serious illness a man in your age group is more exposed to situations in which Peyronie’s disease can arise.
Good luck to you. sir. If I can be of any assistance, please ask. TRH
Thank you Dr. Herazy,
I really do appreciate the time you have taken to address my concerns and give me a thoughtful response.
Howard
What is the concentration of your DMSO?
Greetings John,
The DMSO concentration was formulated for use on Peyronie’s disease by Stanley Jacobs, MD, chief medical researcher for the University of Oregon who did the initial investigation for the therapeutic use of DMSO on human tissue.
He determined that our formulation should be 60% since the genital tissue is as delicate as it is, and good Peyronie’s disease treatment requires repeated and prolonged application of DMSO to the area. We found if a higher concentration is used, the skin of the genital area will quickly become irritated and inflamed to the point that DMSO use must stop. Therefore, at this reduced concentration you will be able to use our PMD DMSO longer and more often, resulting in a better outcome than if you used a 80-90-100% DMSO that you would not be able to use at all.
Good question, thanks. TRH
Can I prevent Peyronie condition from developing after a penis fracture with the help of daily stretching?
Greetings M,
Penis stretching is too risky, I believe. It is so easy to be too aggressive. You could easily keep the inflammation going and not even know it. This could then lead to Peyronie’s disease.
A better approach is to apply cold packs for 15-20 minutes, a few times a day, and take aspirin. To assist things further from the Alt Med end, I suggest taking Neprinol and essential fatty acids. Good luck to you, sir. TRH
Hello Dr Herazy,
Do you have any advice for a long time sufferer of Peyronie’s disease… 10 yrs or more? Making my second attempt to overcome this problem. I have more time and money than I did 10 yrs ago.
Greetings Rick,
First. I have worked with many men whose Peyronie’s disease was 10-15 years old, and they were able to make improvement. Even the older cases of PD can respond when the PDI ideas are followed correctly. Some of the treatment ideas have been refined and improved over the last few years, so be prepared to use a few different ideas than we were using 10 years ago.
Second. Because of the time involved you will need to use a large plan, and maybe a bit more – like the stretching protocol and a few more enzymes to get the most accomplished.
Lastly, follow the directions and ask for help if needed; you do not have to do this alone. Good luck the second time around. TRH
