June 1, 2018 PDI Newsletter
Greetings to all PDI and DCI Warriors,
Welcome to this June 2018 Peyronie’s Disease Institute newsletter. I trust all my friends are well. This month a few emails that tell of progress and share information of about successful treatment plans.
This month we will once again use the familiar and popular format of presenting a simple exchange and blending of emails between one of the many people who send emails to me for assistance and my response to it. These three particular emails, with responses from me to two of them, were selected because the treatment information they contain can be applied to both Dupuytren’s contracture and Peyronie’s disease.
For those of you who are new to our monthly newsletters, please simply apply the ideas expressed here about Alternative Medicine treatment and dosage to what you are doing for your DC or PD. Since PD and DC are so similar in many ways, treatment is also similar; what can be done for one problem can also be done for the other.
Read this series of combined emails like the back-and-forth of two people talking while one occasionally interrupts the other to make an important point or answer a question. As you read these emails from these three people keep in mind that the text in black is from the person asking the question and the text in red is from me.

Hello Dr. Herazy,
I also would like to add my progress to the list that others have offered. I was affected by Peyronie’s disease five years ago. The first year was wasted time as my Family doctor advised vitamin E only as a solution. Nothing resulted from this. But the last two years of mostly continual focus on my modified Medium plan has produced some nice results. I went from an 80 degree bottleneck bend to what today is a 20 degree curve and almost all my original girth returned. There is no discomfort with my erections like at the beginning. I will continue the stretching exercises as recommended but will be reducing my plan because of the costs. I am very happy with the results to date and your excellent advice to me. Many thanks.

Subject: Hand improvement and question
Hi,
I am a 48 YO female with a strong DC family history. I escaped hand surgery only because I found your website and natural treatment ideas two weeks before my scheduled surgery. The information on your website made sense to me and I postposed surgery with the idea I could always reschedule it if I got no help. My doctor wanted to have surgery almost right away but I put it off for 2 years until my hand got so bad that I could not keep my job. I got the large plan and stepped up the doses early to get a good head start. I did not know why you made such an issue about measuring the lumps and cords and all that, but I did it anyway and I am so glad I did. It really helped to know what was going on and when to stop making the increases. It was scary taking all those vitamins but not as scary as surgery and the idea of more surgery when the DC would surely come back. My dad had four hand surgeries and I have an aunt and two uncles who had at least three surgeries each and one who had six!! I figured, what the heck I will try this vitamin approach for only a few months and see what happens.
After 11 weeks my dosage level was good enough that my lumps began to magically melt away, although I thought I could feel some slight softening after the 7 week mark,
Neprinol 2/2/7
Serretia 1/2/4
Bro 5000 1/2/4
DMSO trio 1/0/1 with moist heat 10 mins
US 3/week
Stretching 6/day
MSM 2/3/2
PABA 3/3/3
Quer/Bro 1/2/0
L-arginine 2/2/2
CoQ10 1/0/0
Acetyl-L-carnitine 3/3/1
I am 17 weeks into my plan. My hand lumps and cords are like more than half way gone and I can run my equipment at work now with no problem. I want so bad to get this DC over and done. Can you suggest what enzymes or anything else to add at this time? I will appreciate any advice. Thank you.

Greetings YLXXXXXXXX,
Congratulations. Nice report. Your DC is responding because you are aggressively following the DCI ideas. So many people are timid and fearful about taking natural supplements that they take only small doses and therefore do not respond as they could. You did it the right way and your tissue is responding nicely. Good for you.
You can increase your plan if you want, but I caution against it. What you are doing now is working. So many people make progress like you have and when they try to make their plans even better they somehow imbalance it and results suffer. I can understand wanting to get more done faster, but like I have said before, why get off a horse that is winning the race? Don’t be greedy. If you decide to increase your current plan do so very slowly and carefully, and immediately backtrack downward if you notice any slowing or reversal of progress. Make haste slowly.
If you want to do more for your hand, and be cautious at the same time, I suggest doing hand stretches or moist heat packs more often or for longer sessions, or doing the DMSO trio more often.

I have the large 10 item plan for my Dupuytren’s contracture.
I have 2 questions:
On the sheet about Dusa Sal DMSO, Unique E Vitamin Oil. Says I should use the Super CD Serum, but it didn’t come with the 10 pack. Is this something I need to order? The sheet makes it sound that it is a crucial part of the chemical reaction. Super CP Serum is a copper peptide that is used to assist tissue repair. Most people add it to their plans because it is an easy and cost-effective way to expand treatment without a lot of additional time or effort.
Other question: Dosage and care sheet. Is it ok to take multiple meds at the same time? The ones stating in between meals. Is that critical. Does the stomach need to be empty? Yes, but back to your concern about medication, having a drug in the stomach is not the same as having food in the stomach. To say it another way, drugs do not count in regard to taking the enzymes between meals.
Thanks for your time. My hand is really ugly (can’t wear rings on either hand), but isn’t painful. The Contracture is rt ring finger, but I can tell I’m getting it in my left hand and my rt thumb has developed a “click” in the second joint. So I’m really hoping this treatment system helps. Getting both hands cut is a very scary proposition. You must evaluate and record the size, shape, density and degree of adhesion of your lumps and cords so that you know when there is change in the tissue, telling you when you can stop increasing your dosages. I hope you have done this. TRH
Thanks again,

Thanks for the quick feedback. I’ll go onto the site and get the Super CD today.
When I mentioned about meds …I meant the ones in the 10. I don’t take and prescription drugs (lucky me).
And just so I have it correct the between meals “meds” how long after or before meals, or is that not critical.
I promise not to bother with too many questions. There was so much information on all those pages just want to make sure I’m on target on all fronts.
And yes, I have measured the target areas. Even put my hand on the color copier as a record.
Thx,
BFXXXXXXXXXX

Greets BFXXXXXXXXXX,
Yes, the time is critical and is covered in the information sent to you. You should wait at least an hour before or an hour after each meal before taking any of the enzyme group (Neprinol, Inflamazyme, Serretia, Nattokinase, etc.).
Good idea to make a photocopy of the hand. Anything you can to do document the physical condition of your fibrous tissue will be helpful to you later. It is critical to know when tissue change begins because then at that time you go into a stable mode of treatment. If you are not aware of the smallest details of your fibrous tissue you will not know for sure that you are making progress. This will result in you not only becoming unnecessarily discouraged, but also you will continue to increase your treatment dosages beyond the point that you should.
